Love for Juliana

Donation protected
Juliana Wren has been such a blessing to her family since the moment she was born.  However, as soon as she was born the doctors informed Joe and Lindsey that she had very high levels of bilirubin and a high red blood count.  This caused her to have to spend the first 21 days of her life in the NICU.  Once she was discharged, she was still having to visit the doctor 4 days a week to keep an eye on her bilirubin and blood count - lots of lab work and making sure she was stable.
At 3 months they found out that she had cataracts in both her eyes and would require surgery to fix.  This was a two part surgery in Charleston, and during the first one the anesthesiologists noticed seizure like symptoms and recommended seeing a neurologist. She had a MRI and EEG and was diagnosed with infant spasms. They then visited a neurosurgeon at Duke who told them the devastating news that Juliana had suffered a stroke and because of the hydrocephalus she would need emergency brain surgery.
They will travel back to Duke on July 1st for another MRI to see if the surgery to drain the fluid on the brain was successful.  If not, Juliana will have to undergo a second brain surgery to put in a shunt.
As you can imagine this has been very difficult for Joe and Lindsey.  Their wish is to see her thrive and grow. The cost of medical bills and traveling is starting to add up.  Any financial support is greatly appreciated. And most of all, prayers to the good Lord to heal and protect sweet Juliana.
