Lala’s Fight ❤️
Last night we were faced with the worst news that we could ever imagine. Our baby girl Lala has what they called Pericardial effusion which is large amounts of fluid in the sac around her heart putting strain on her heart and fluid in her belly. We were giving the option to drain the fluid with the chance she may go into cardiac arrest, make her comfortable take her home and enjoy a few days with her until she passed, or euthanasia. Of course we chose to give our Lala a fighting chance and go forward with the procedure. The procedure was successful and they were able to drain the fluid to take some of the strain off her heart. Unfortunately this is only the beginning they kept her at Oradell to continue monitoring her heart and make sure fluid doesn’t come back. Next step is finding out why and hopefully rule out heart failure or cancer. Today they will be running tests echocardiogram, ultrasound, testing fluids they drained for cancer cells, and so on. Anyone that knows us knows that our fur babies are more like our kids and we would do anything for them❤️ that is why I am so humbly asking for help with raising money to help cover her medical expenses- we have a long road ahead of us but as long as Lala is willing to fight so are we! Thank you in advance from the bottom of our heart ❤️ and please Pray for our Baby!Love Linda & Liz+ Read More
Over a week later and our baby is still going strong ❤️. We are now believers in CBD oil and holistic treatments. Last week we got the news and we were told Lala probably wouldn’t make it through the weekend. She is still eating, playing, going for walks and not showing any signs of decline or pain...If anything it has been the complete opposite! We will continue with her treatments at home and continue to surround her with nothing but love ❤️ and keep praying for as much time as possible with her!!! Thank you all again for all the love and prayers!!
Lala sends her love ❤️ and thanks you all!!!
So we were faced with the very bad news that Lala has stage 4 Lymphoma in her stomach and heart. We can get aggressive with chemo but were told even with treatment her prognosis is not good. We had to make a decision to either euthanasia or bring her home and make her as comfortable as we can. Lala still has so much spunk and fight in her eyes there was no way yesterday was the end. Lala is home with us comfortable and surrounded by Love ❤️ She is not in pain and still has an appetite. My very good and amazing friend Kim Fela gave us CBD oils and holistic remedies that we are using to treat her and we are praying will help. I just wanted to say Thank You to each and everyone of you for your generous donations ❤️ really means the world to us and especially to Lala!! We will keep you all updated on her progress please keep her in your prayers
