URGENT! DOG HIT BY CAR NEEDS HELP!

Donation protected
On Monday night (10/8/2018) my neighbor texted me to tell me her husband had hit a dog on Seven Springs and wanted to know what to do. She asked if she should call animal control I told her No. I asked if the dog was alive or dead, she said alive. I live right down the road, so I got up and raced down the street. The shepherd was bleeding pretty badly from her mouth/nose but no other obvious injuries. We loaded her up, and off to Arlington it was the closest emergency. Luckily they were able to take us in right away, no microchip and no collar on this baby. This sweet girl walked in and just was panting. Blood just pouring out of her. All we could make out was she had bit a piece of the side of her tongue and 2 back teeth were gone. They gave Vitamin K injection, antibiotic injection and 2 pain injections. I was there about an hour and a half, she walked back out to my truck and home we came. That bill was $341.78 (have receipt)I brought her inside and put her in a crate with a huge down comforter and let her rest. She slept 13 hours. Tuesday morning, I let out all the other dogs, (I run a dog rescue) then went to get her out to go potty, she wouldn’t budge. I tried to coax her, nothing. I finally pulled her out and tried to get her to walk with me and she couldn’t. Her hind quarters just buckled underneath her. 2 steps and she was out of breath and in obvious distress and pain. I sat her back down. Ran and got dressed and hauled her off to Woodcrest. Dr Verrault did xrays of her back legs, abdomen and pelvis. No obvious fractures, but she said it appeared as though she had lost sensation in the hind quarters, she flipped her paw so her toes were curled and the dog didn’t try to correct it. (This is apparently a test they do) her concern of course was that she has a spinal injury. She prescribed some prednisone, and tramadol. She said we should give her 48 hours to see if maybe the swelling will go down and she will be able to walk again. That bill was $380 So far, no remarkable changes for this sweet girl, she still can’t stand up, I am hand feeding her boiled chicken, and laying with her and massaging her. If she indeed has a spinal cord injury, I most certainly can’t afford to pay for that for her. (I’ve already come out of pocket almost $750) This dog is 100% owned by somebody in our community. She’s about 80 pounds, well fed and not an outside dog. How is nobody missing her? I’m trying to raise money to cover the vet bills already incurred, a possible MRI ($2,000)AND potentially some wheels ($800-$1000) for this girl (if her quality of life accepts it) I will not let this dog suffer. If she is in pain and we can’t find a resolution, I will have to do the hard thing and say goodbye to her. This is our dog Woodcrest/orangecrest/greater lake Matthews. Please help me get her what she needs! I’ve been calling her Sweet girl because she is truly the sweetest shepherd. If you recognize her and know her owners please help me find them.
