Teresa Cumbie Medical Fund

In June of 2018 Teresa Cumbie was diagnosed with EHE, a rare cancer(sarcoma) with very little funding and research. This form of cancer is only reportedly diagnosed in approximately 12-20 patients yearly so clinical trials are at a minimum and the number of participants of the trials are very low. Teresa is being seen by one of the best sarcoma specialists in the country and has been informed that she is in need of a whole liver transplant in order to survive as her liver is failing.  As of This fund beginning, 10/10/18, Teresa and Henry have been at Duke University Medical Center for 1 week undergoing testing to ensure that she is strong enough to endure the rigors of a liver transplant and to our delight, it looks as though she has passed all of the tests to this point, with only a few tests remaining. We are asking that anyone that can, no matter to what extent, please help support Henry and Teresa as they walk along this journey with the lord at their side. This fund will be spent on medical bills and travel costs associated with the treatment and care of Teresa.
