Picture Empowerment Start-Up

Elena is a Junior at Alleman High School and believes that pictures are a way of empowerment.  She believes that everyone deserves to have photographs taken of them, including ones that the financial burden may be too much to have professional photographs taken.  Examples of these scenarios would include family, senior, adoption, and foster care pictures.

Where do you come in?
Elena would love to start a non-profit taking photographs of events and people free of charge.  She has already been doing this in her free time but would like to be more devoted to this cause.  She believes that everyone should have the ability to get professional quality photos taken, which also includes a professional quality camera.  Elena's current camera is definitely not professional quality.  These funds would cover a new camera with lenses and also the fees to file and start-up a non profit.  Elena's mom and Travis will help with some of these fees, but the start-up cost is too much for them to help 100% financially.  Her birthday is also October 22nd and in lieu of gifts she would want any funds to go to this cause.

What will clients receive?
1. Photo shoot done by Elena with her new professional quality camera.
2. All pictures edited and on a jump drive
3. Pictures framed and some loose pictures (depending on funds)
4. Gift card to print out more pictures at a local store or online
