Shelly's Medical Expenses

Donation protected

Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer in June.
My mom, Shelly Swan, is the most generous person I know. Giving to others is her love language and she speaks it well. That being said,  it breaks my heart to watch a cruel disease take and take from my mother when she has nothing left to give.  She has since endured 16 weeks of chemotherapy, PICC line treatments, weekly doctor visits, but, the most heartwrenching thing she's endured is the loss of herself. She desires so badly have energy again, not for her own benefit, but so she may return to giving back to others in ways only she knows how. Mom still has a long way to go until we can rejoice in the healing of her body. She will endure two more weeks of chemo, then surgery, and then radiation, taking us well into 2018 in a way we never expected.  Though like I said earlier, mom's body has been weak, her faith has never been stronger. She has used this journey to grow in her love of God and friends and family. Each of us in her close circle is so proud of how strong she has been mentally and how positive she continues to be. As positive as we all are, things have become difficult financially. Unforeseen circumstances have left my dad without a job and insurance twice within the year and mom has been unable to work. My brother and I are not currently in a financial position to fully support our parents. At this point in Mom's medical journey, positive energy, prayers, hugs, meals, kind words, phone calls, cards, and yes, also money donations will be appreciated with the greatest thanks. Much love to you
