Art Projects for Alzheimer's
Donation protected
Since 2007 the Mobile Art Program has been providing an outlet for the seniors and adults with disabilities living in Austin. We seek out those who suffer from isolation, illness and Alzheimer's.
We are raising money to create a manual that will provide useful tools for the caregivers to help reduce side effects, such as agitation, aggression, apathy, anxiety, social withdrawal, and depression - while improving the quality of life for those living with the disease. The manual will be distributed FREE of charge through the Austin Meals on Wheels & More, plus as a pdf download on our website.
The production costs will be $1,250 and will reach over 200 people caring for a loved one living with dementia.
