URI Dressage Team 2015-2016

The University of Rhode Island Dressage Team is a club level organization that is mainly supported by student members and generous donations of its supporters. We compete against other schools in New England that are a part of the Intercollegiate Dressage Association such as Johnson and Wales University, Dartmouth College, the University of New Hampshire and the University of Maine. In years past our small but mighty team has been very successful in our region and even sent individuals to Nationals two years in a row!
      This year our team has almost doubled in size and with the hard work of our members we were able to win our fall home show and come in second at UMaine's fall show! But with the sudden growth in the team also came more expenses. Our predicted budget did not match the actual expenses of this year and we are now running soley on fundraising  to carry us through the winter/spring semester. The money raised will go towards paying for the team's horses (shoes, board, etc.). Without this money we will be unable to afford our horses and we will have to take the spring semester off.  We welcome any donations at this time and we are so grateful to everyone that helps and supports our team, because without you this team would not be able to function.
