Help Saba Win the National American Miss Pageant

Hi everyone! Let me tell you a story about what appeared to be a normal school day.

I came home when I unexpectedly received a letter in the mail for this competition. I had never heard of it and still have no idea who nominated me! But I think I know why. I have been a quiet, hardworking and dedicated community leader. 
 The more I learn about this competition, the more I think I can bring to it. I attended the information session and I received a call back which means I qualify for the Maryland state competition!

I was talking to one of my friends who has done pageants and she helped convince me that it is worth it. She has won some pageants herself and told me about how much she enjoyed the experience. She also recieved many new opportunities that I look forward to.

NAM will teach me valuable skills like self-confidence, poise, and interview skills.  
It will be a challenge that I look forward to!
