Victor's Surgery

Victor is a 4 1/2 month old kitten born with congenital deformities of the chest including a diaphragmatic hernia. I've had him since he was 10 days old. He's a tiny boy at only 4lbs. due to his problems but he is strong and has always had the will to grow and be strong! He is old enough now to have the hernia repaired and the sooner the better because he is already showing signs of further damage. He has fluid building around the lung and scar tissue development. Without surgery he will just get worse. He breathes hard because of the hernia and it wears on his heart. Eventually he would lose his quality of life. I swore I would give him every chance to live a long, healthy life and this is it. It's an expensive surgery and there's always a chance that he won't survive such an invasive thing but I have to try. Victor deserves every chance to live a normal, healthy life. He has a surgical consultation on the 26th and I will then have an estimate but I was told to expect it to be about $2,000.
