Lilly's Surgery

Donation protected
I am an animal lover. I had a boxer Milo and a rescue pup River, also a cat Lilly. After I had to put my boxer down River started to get really depressed. I wasn't ready to own a second dog yet so I decided I would foster. I have been fostering since January 2016. I have had 26 fosters in that time. I absolutely love fostering. Helping dogs to find their FURever homes is an amazing feeling. While not every foster is cat friendly all have cohabitated during their stay, some better than others. Unfortunately, my last foster didn't learn to cohabitate well and fixated on my cat. Thursday morning while on his way to being let out to pee he found my cat and latched on. He got a hold of her face and wouldn't let go for at least a minute. My cat retreated to behind the tub. When she finally came out I noticed the gash on her face, her tongue was sticking out and she was drooling. After calling my vet they suggested I go to Tufts, the emergency hospital. The final result was a gash on her face, some bruising in her mouth, and a fractured jaw. She will have to have surgery to fix her fractured jaw. Now while we don't have to pay for anything for our fosters unfortunately sometimes our own fur babies bills can add up.    This will not deter me from fostering but the cost of Lilly's surgery is a bit much for me to handle. Please consider donating so my baby won't be in pain anymore.
