As most of you know, Kate passed suddenly and unexpectedly at 1am on the 16th of September.We are so thankful and speechless at the overwhelming inundation of messages with love, laughter, memories, thoughts, sympathies, blessings and offers of help.Our Kate loved Facebook and would always turn to the many people she touched, and who touched her heart in return, for support, love, strength and courage when things got too much for her. She found so much comfort in all of you and for that we are forever grateful.We have been faced with the harsh reality of what an unexpected death means for a family, and the financial burden that it carries. We sat around our family table discussing the options that were available to us and what this would mean for Kate’s final goodbye.We want to give Kate everything and make it an event to be proud of, to celebrate her life and the positive impact she had on all around her.We have no expectations of you, but if you could find some change in your pocket to help us with these arrangements we would be forever indebted. $1, $10, $100 - every cent counts and would bring us one step closer to the funeral that Kate would want.
