"Jet Fuel" Fundraiser

In past years Jeffrey Trail Middle School has held an annual fundraiser with support from an outside company. They hosted a student assembly and reward party, distributed prizes, and handled all promotion. And, like any company should, they took a share of the overall earnings. This year, we have decided to do something different.
Instead of relying on a for-profit company, we are going to run our annual fundraiser internally to ensure that 100% of the funds stay with Jeffrey Trail. We are proud to announce our “JET FUEL FUNDRAISER”. We hope to fill our “tank” with the “jet fuel” (donations) to bring specific improvements to our campus that will enrich the academic experience and physical environment for all students and staff.
Our goal is to raise $50,000 through tax deductible donations to fund the following:
• Library “Maker space” and Flexible Seating
• Water Bottle Filling Stations
• Outdoor Tables and Table Umbrellas
• ASB Activities
Our focus is on us! Not prizes. Not assemblies. Our hope is that our students and their families see the value in supporting our efforts, and that you will ask your extended family and friends to donate as well. We have 1175 students at JTMS. If each family raises $50, we would easily meet our goal!
THE “JET FUEL” FUNDRAISER STARTS TODAY and will conclude on October 24. Keep track of our progress with the giant Jet Fuel Tank at the campus entrance. To encourage student to support their school, we do have a few things to offer that only JTMS could.
Students who earn donations as follows will receive some fun opportunities:
• $50 – Receive an Otter Pop and “Duck Out” to lunch early
• $100 – The opportunity to drench Mrs. Parker and Mr. Georgino with water balloons
• $300 – Say the morning announcements with your best friend and become famous
• $500 – Get a year-long “front of the line pass” and never wait to eat again!
• Top earner – pizza lunch party with up to 7 friends!
• All of JTMS - Reach our goal or have 75% participation and we will celebrate together with an extended lunch for everyone!
