Road to Nationals

We are excited to share a story about opportunity and future, the U17 Phoenix Girls Tier 1 Soccer Team  from Sherwood Park has won the 2018 Provincial Championship for the second consecutive year and will now advance to Canadian Soccer Nationals in Surrey, British Columbia, on October 2nd-8th, 2018. A team built on hard work and determination, these girls are motivated to improve on last years result. They are very honoured and proud to represent their home province of Alberta on this national stage and they understand their success does not come without support from immediate and extended family.

This incredible group of young ladies are dedicated on and off the field to the team concept and all other fundraising carried out by themselves and their families this year. The rare opportunity to extend their season is very exciting but it is also very expensive.  We would love to give these young athletes a hand by reaching out to our virtual family and friends for any amount that you are able to contribute.

We are raising  funds to meet the team budget for this trip at $20,000.00. This will go strictly towards team accommodations, flights, meals, apparel, ground transportation, equipment, training facilities and other expenses associated with the journey to this elite national tournament in British Columbia.
