Emergency Medical Assistance

Greetings, friends and family! I need your help right now as I am struggling to stay healthy and make it home. I came to Eugene, OR for an long vacation. From the very moment I arrived, I began having health problems and was in the hospital after just a couple of days in town. I have made every effort to care gently for myself and rest, but my health has deteriorated very quickly and I have had very limited resources to cover my expenses and travel home. I was re-admitted recently. My liver is struggling to do it's job which has caused a cascade of issues leading to my gall bladder being surgically removed, amongst other problems. I still have an additional procedure coming up, and have weeks of recovering ahead of me. The last three weeks have been very physically and emotionally taxing. It is not in my character to plead for cash, but I am in dire straits and must enlist help if I am going to get better. My health insurance is through another state, and does not cover anything ouf-of-state besides emergency services. When my second surgery is complete, I will be cut off from any financial aid for medicine and follow up appointments until I make it home.
