a red nosed actor needs help to graduate

Hello world,

I am Iulia (you-Lee-ah), a 24 years old Romanian actor-in-the-making attending at the East15 Acting school, an acting school (purposefully suggested by its name) located in Debden to the north-east of London, Essex.

I would love to graduate in June and I need help. Details of why this is happening is carefully stated in the following lines, filled with various (ir)relevant details and many brackets.
I landed here in 2015 when a grumpy Greek theatre person offered me a place on the course that he was leading, the BA acting international course (we call it the INTS course), where we learn that the grumpiness is fake and becomes less scary with time, disappearing completely when we do a good job. Or when we are funny.
The course debuted in 2014, tailored for international actors that want to have rigorous training, as well as creative freedom to write and perform (here I am with a red nose in a play that classmates wrote and directed; and here I am again, in a coffin, appearing in a play that my best friend wrote, and that I co-directed). I knew that embarking on this adventure called “hey I’m going to England with no money to do acting!” would be financially challenging, but I fortunately quickly found a job in a small shop. It was all great, except that I never had enough money to pay the rent on time, nor keep up with the required rhythm of life imposed around me throughout my training at school.
My mother’s monthly salary (as a geography teacher in Romania) is 2000 lei =390 £ (less than the 430£ that I have to pay monthly for rent and bills) - that is just enough for her to pay rent where she lives and to take care of my siblings Petru(10) and Maria(16). I have tried to apply for different loans and bursaries, but apart from the tuition fee loan from the UK government, I am not entitled to apply for any other type of loan in the UK, and no help could be obtained from the Romanian government ( it is too busy being one of the most corrupt governments in Europe, organizing referendums and building the largest Orthodox Church in the world right next to the third largest administrative building in the world that was built to satisfy Nicolae Ceauseascu’s personality complex and to be seen from space, and here I am ending the spontaneous rant about Romania that has nothing to do with this post and probably has nothing to do with why am I in this situation. Romania is a great country, come visit!). (I told you that there are going to be a lot of brackets) ()()()()()()()().
With no financial aid to cover maintenance or living expenses apart from the little salary gained by various part time jobs, I have somehow managed to pursue the international course for two and a half years, surviving with a little help from (my friends) some great humans that I have met. Twice, I shared a room with my best friend, and lived in a friend’s dressing room for a whole summer! Other friends landed me money and their rooms while they were away. I have had amazing support from the people that I have met, and will forever be grateful for their expressed sense of solidarity.

One might ask him or herself why I moved to the UK to struggle for dear life in the first place, and not just stay in Romania? I saw this as a great opportunity to study in an international school, surrounded by people from all over the planet, discovering new ways of creating theatre and understanding the craft. With theatre and acting being the most vivid passion of my life, this opportunity given me the possibility of working towards transforming a passion and a dream into palpable reality.
Today, I am sharing a flat in Debden (Essex) with fellow students, debuting the second semester of my final and third year at the East15 Acting school. I have made it this far, but I am currently facing possible eviction from my flat because of my inability to keep up with the flat’s rent. Needless to say, our landlord has been very understanding towards my current financial situation, and has been so for the past few months. In effect, after having spent the month of August 2018 at the Fringe in Edinburgh, performing with the Milk and Blood theatre company in a great, energetic, humorous show entitled The Dip, I returned to Debden with very little money.
Nevertheless, the landlord allowed me to move in even if I wasn't able to pay the deposit in its totality; I have slowly been paying the deposit in instalments every month. Since school started, I have not been able to work enough hours to cover all the expenses: the full amount to be pad is of 1225£, corresponding to the rent of the past two months, as well as the current month of January 2019), and the rest of the deposit.
With the help of this page, I hope to raise this money or parts of it, which would permit me to keep having a place to sleep, as well as finishing my final semester at the East15 acting school. Indeed, this degree is the most important thing to me, and if I must move out of the this flat, it would then be impossible for me to attend school on a normal basis and fully commit to these last 5 months of training.

It would be really helpful if you please share this link with people that you consider might be interested in helping this cause.
Thank you,
Iulia Isar.
