Be open. Seek adventure. And connect with people.
Next July, we seek cultural exchange in small villages in South Africa. To create, however, the best experience possible, we need some financial aid.
Secretspotadventure specialized in organizing trips to meet other cultures, share moments with local people and discover hidden places which will have a beneficial impact on the travelers lives. They learn from it and grow. Unfortunately, "only for those being able to afford it and actually got the time".
Our mission is to enable the villagers to benefit from the same opportunities that we give to our travelers. Therefore, we create activities that facilitate the cultural exchange between the two. Our activities consist of: various games, barbecues, as well as mini road trips focused on discovering new places ("secret spots") and a lot more. When the time of saying goodbye arrives, we would love to offer something to the villagers which reflects the time we spent together: Something that will retain our new-formed memories like pictures, books, games,... etc.
And that is exactly why we need your help! Because with your help, we are able to improve the quality of these experiences and offer them, at least for a short period of time, all the advantages they deserve.
Our company´s philosophy says that everyone should have the opportunity to travel. For us, travelling does not simply mean to visit another country but to share a genuine connection with local people and culture that inhabit the places we visit.
If someone is being denied this opportunity, it lies in our hands to act! Thus, we created a special type of humanitarian project, which we have already been carrying out the past years ( e.g. Vietnam, Thailand,...). There is, however, a vast number of people for whom, because of the life they were born into, the idea of seeing outside their community's backyard is only a dream. To help them achieve this dream, we decided to promote a cultural exchange between travelers and villagers by organizing activities and sharing a special moment together. Instead of only delivering supplies, we want to leave them memories and hope to give everyone a new outlook on life.
To express our gratitud we will create a photo album for each trip and send it to everyone donating at least 25€. Thank you so much!
