For Renee and the boys-Care &Nanny

Donation protected
So, here we are. All I can think is that it's too fast. Too soon. Renee's fight with brain cancer has gotten even harder. Within the last few weeks, she was losing words and slowly losing the ability to communicate. One more seizure stole all of it.

After some time in the hospital, Renee is now in a nursing home/rehab facility and while she cannot talk or move very much, she is squeezing hands, winking and smirking. She's in there, for sure! We are fighting for you, Renee! She's still getting treatments each week and we are praying hard! As she is fighting her battle, Frank and their boys are praying and trying to get through each day.

What makes it even harder is the scheduling... There is a need for a Nanny to be found that will put in alot of hours - overnight and weekends to be there when Frank cannot. It will most likely need to be a Live-in Nanny. There is a lot of family support, thank God for that, but for the kids it should be consistent and normal. There's Reid who will be 4 years old very soon and Frankie who is 8. As those of you with young children know, there are too many things to think about and do with little ones.... Not to mention homework, sports, bedtime routines, packing bags, Scout meetings, school paperwork and all those things that moms do when no one is looking. Every one of us could use a hand... think of your children and how you would like them to be cared for should you not be able to do it yourself.

For now, we aren't sure about Renee's care. There may also be a need for a home/live-in nurse to care for her 24 hrs or a place in a home will need to be found. It isn't ideal, of course, but sometimes we have to live with what God decides we can handle. We need to storm heaven with our prayers for the whole family and help them carry this cross in any way we can.

Now, go tell your family that you love them and don't waste another second.
