Legend of Sir George Somers

The Legend of Sir George Somers is a point and click game in which the player gets to relive the adventure of the Sea Venture as the Admiral. The player will learn about the journey from Lyme Regis to Jamestown as they interact with other characters and sail the fleet through storms and other challenges.

The Legend of Sir George Somers needs funds to commission and contract professionals for services related to modeling, animating, sound creation, skin design, level design, and overall artistic improvements. Up to this point, the game has been developed by one indie developer focused on the research of Bermuda's history, writing the script between characters, and working with freelancers to start drawing some of the characters. To bring The Legend of Sir George Somers to the next stage of development, funding for outside contractors is required.

As part of giving back, we are offering the opportunity to 5 Bermudian children who are interested in game development to actively work on the project and gain experience in building the game.
