Help Jennifer Kick Leukemia’s Butt

What was the happiest time of their lives has turned into the worst! They were over the moon about being pregnant. Baby Bear was growing strong and steady but unfortunately on Sunday August 5th 2018 their world forever changed . Jennifer was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and was air lifted immediately to John Hopkins where she will spend the majority of the next 6 or 7 months having chemo therapy and a bone marrow transplant. Ultimately if it wasn’t for Baby Bear the Leukemia would have gone undetected for awhile and she would have become extremely sick. The only side effects she had were what they believed were pregnancy symptoms. She is two weeks into her stay and almost through her first round of chemo. Unfortunately the chemo was just to strong for Baby Bear to survive. This crushed their entire family! Baby Bear will forever be their hero for saving his Mommy ! While the emotional stress on this journey is tough enough the financial stress is another battle. Jennifer is unfortunately unable to work for at least the next 18 months. During the next 6-7 months she will be either in the hospital or they will be at an apartment within 15-20 minutes incase they need to rush back. This is the stressful part supporting two households. Plus the traveling expenses. And the medical bills are piling up already !! They truly appreciate all the support, love and prayers that have been sent their way. The amount of love that has been shared in the few short weeks has been amazing !!
