Destination Imagination Globals

Looking for future leaders?  Look no further than Walton Rural Life Center (WRLC).  Walton, population 233, is in rural Kansas.  Destination Imagination (DI) is an international science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) competition.  Kid Power is Walton Rurual Life Center's Destination Team, comprised of four 4th graders from WRLC: Naomi, Adelia, Cole and Lennon.  In their first attempt, Kid Power qualified to participate in Global Finals, to be held in Knoxville, Tennessee, May 25-28.  You can imagine our team's excitement...then we realized that we had less than 2 months to find a way to cover $5000+ in costs associated with attending the competition!  We want to make sure that the financial requirement is not an obstacle to each student's participation.
With school budgets being scarce, we are determined to work hard to support our team's incredible accomplishment!  So, we are not funding individual team members, but have agreed to work together to raise funds as a team.  Our team will be engaging local businesses and non-profits in fundraising.  Please consider this opportunity to support support our future leaders.  I'm sure you can imagine the lasting impact this will have.  Thank you, on behalf of Naomi, Adelia, Cole and Lennon!
