Frankies Fight Against Lymphoma

It's been about a year of pain, tests/scans, doctor appointments and hospital visits. About a year later, Frankie Mitropoulos has been diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma, a cancer in his immune system. We are still waiting for the results of his bone marrow biopsy to determine if it is stage 2 or stage 4 but either way, we are sure we will make it through this fight! For those of you with the pleasure of knowing him personally, you all know how he can light up a room with his smile and amazing personality. Frankie is one of the most positive, thoughtful and kindest person you can meet. Even through this battle, he shows his strength and bravery by making sure everyone around him continues to see the fun loving crazy Frankie we've all fell in love with.. even if he knows that when he gets back home in bed for the night, the pain hits him hard.

On May 10, Frankie has his first session of chemotherapy to start his 6 month journey towards being cancer free! We can finally start the treatment to have him feeling like himself again! Frankie and I can't be more blessed with the amount of support and love we have surrounding us during this time and we can't thank you all enough for the prayers and positive vibes we've been receiving.

As a lot of people know, the cost of this battle is incredibly high with not only chemotherapy sessions, but all of the tests and appointments in between. Unfortunately, insurance is only covering a percentage of each session leaving us to cover the rest out of pocket which they are estimating to add up to more than $25,000.

This medical fund will go towards the medical bills that have been piling up while we've been trying to find a diagnosis as well as all of the medical bills that will continue to come as we fight this battle.
