autism service dog
Hi, my name is Emma. I am 22 years old.
I suffer from Autism, Panic Disorder and Anxiety.
My current assistance dog, Bailee has to retire due to health concerns. Without an Assistance Dog I find it difficult to access places that most people take for granted. An Autism Assistance Dog helps to keep me calm when my senses threaten to overwhelm me, and helps to ground me when panic attacks hit, as I know I am not alone.
The candidate for my new assistance dog is the chocolate Labrador in the photo, her name is Kahlua. She has just joined Brama Labradors in Victoria for six months training. You can follow Brama Labs
Facebook page for updates on Kahlua's progress.
It can take up to 12 months and up to $30,000 to fully train an Assistance Dog. If you are able to donate to help Kahlua become a full Assistance Dog then please donate to my GoFundMe. Even if you aren't in a position to donate could you share this.
Many Thanks
Emma
