Miss Jai Fund Help Me To Walk

Miss Jai is now 16 weeks old and thanks to so many caring people we were able to go to the Neurologist in Ottawa and get a diagnosis. She has Thoactic hemivertebrae, which is congenital and rarely found in English Springer Spaniels. Miss Jai has never been able to walk but gets around by hopping and dragging her back end. She still has some feeling in her back legs but as she grows the 3 vertebrae that are affected will continue to press on her spinal cord, eventually leaving her completely paralyzed from the chest down.
Surgery can be done to fix her spine but at a cost of up to $7,000. She will also need ongoing medication for pain management probably for the rest of her life. The only other option is euthanasia.
I am appealing to ask for help to save this sweet girl. She has a wonderful personality, fun, determined and captures the heart of everyone who meets her. She is from a litter my girl Mahiya had so I have been caring for her since birth.
The sooner we can get the surgery done, the better her chances are of a full recovery.
