Help Savannah get her Bike ! When Savannah turned 1 year old , she was diagnosed with Mild Cerebral Palsy. Cerebral palsy (CP) is a group of disorders that affect a person's ability to move and maintain balance and posture. Savannah sat up un assisted at 14 months old , could transition from belly to sitting up at 21 months old , pulled to stand at 2 years old , and now her most recently exciting goal she has conquered is crawling at almost 3 years old . Savannah has been in physical therapy, and occupational therapy for almost 2 years and has slowly made great progress. We work hard every day , making most of our time into therapy time some how some way .
As Savannah’s mother , I am always looking at anything and everything that could possibly help or benefit Savannah in her journey to some day walk .
I came across a company called Freedom concepts that have specially made bikes for children like Savannah . This bike would allow Savannah to strengthen her legs and help her legs practice the pattern of walking. This bike would provide her with a feeling of independence and quite frankly would be so much fun for her all while physically making her stronger. If she gets this bike it could possibly help Savannah walk sooner than later .Please support us and help Savannah get her bike !
