Helping Bruce

I recently graduated from CSU Sacramento and, amidst the joy of completing my schooling and the stress of saving money to pay back the 50K in student loans, my beloved cat Bruce suddenly fell very ill. Over the course of an afternoon he deteriorated from my happy, loving little dude to frightened, crying in pain and hardly able to move. My better half and I rushed him to the ER only to find that he had a massive blockage in his urethra, causing his bladder to balloon out and forced his kidneys to the verge of collapse. We sent him in for emergency treatment, but the cost of saving my best friend is more than I can financially bear with the looming student loan repayments. Bruce has been my rock throughout school. He was integral in my recovery from thyroid cancer and my ongoing battle with depression. He is at the door when I come home from a 12 hour day of work and school and is there in the morning to wake me up. He knows when I'm sick and won't leave my side after a bad day. At home he always keeps me company and is always eager to sit next to me while I work or eat dinner, chattering away as Maine Coons do. I can't lose my boy. Any and all help is beyond appreciated, I just want him to be happy and healthy again. Thank you all.
