5th Grade Classroom Set of Books

My classroom is located in a low socio-economic area and all of my students currently receive free lunch.  I often provide all materials in order for my students to begin the school year on the best possible foot that they can. I have recently introduced flexible seating in my room to allow students the freedom to make choices about how they learn best and to become in charge of their learning and how it happens.  One of the most important parts of our day is choice reading.  I will often use my smart board at the end of the day to project my cloud reader so that I am able to share the most current books available.  It is my goal to get quality, current books in the hands of my students.  In order to do this, I must invest in class sets of books for the 5th grade to share.
