Plattsburgh Family Displaced By Fire

Life has changed in the blink of an eye for my son, his fiancé, Hannah Beeching and their babygirl Olyve who turns one next week. Friday, my son woke up to the sound of cracking at 2 am only to discover that their home was on fire. miraculously, he survived with only seconds to spare before the fire spread to where he was sleeping. He had nothing but the clothes on his back. He was completely in shock, only able to remove his car from the driveway, which was burned also. Thank God Hannah and Olyve had left to go south for a family function with her Mom, Terri Beeching and her Dad, Jeff Beeching. Upon entering the home with my son, I was immediately heart broken. There was nothing salvageable. Olyves’ little shoes, along with her favorite toys all covered in soot. Pictures blackened, willow statues that were burnt, Olyves’ books and everything else this little angel ever knew gone. My son works hard so that Hannah can stay home with Olyve. So they are living week to week. Savings are impossible. At least we all have each other. I am praying that we, as a community, and family can aid them so that they can start anew.
