Help me Achieve my Dream!

Hello, my name is Dania Isidro and my dream is to become a pediatric surgeon. In order to do this, I truly hope for my acceptance into Harvard and then graduate school at John Hopkins. As many of you know, these are very prestigious schools that look for several aspects in a possible candidate; they look for details that really make a student stand out amongst the crowd. I have been nominated to attend NYLF: Advanced Medicine & Health Care program at John Hopkins, and have also been selected as a delegate for the Congress of Future Medical Leaders. These are both programs offered to students who show leadership, academic achievement, and who are dedicated to the service of humanity through medicine. I am very excited to go, but do not have the funds to do so. I believe attending the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF): Advanced Medicine & Health Care and the Congress of Future Medical Leaders will truly be outstanding experiences not only for the college credit I will be receiving by attending, but also because it will show Harvard that I am fully committed to my future plans and have the motivation to attain them.

Your financial support will be utilized to get me to the two different destinations, as well the tuition and accommodations necessary during my stay. As these programs tend to fill up fast, I am required to register with a down-payment as soon as possible, hopefully by the 2nd week of March 2016 to reserve my spot. Your donation today will allow me to participate in these two prestigious opportunities.

Currently, I am in band, six various clubs - two of which I am the president of, the National Honors Society, and I work at a local restaurant. I believe hard work is the only way to achieve all we desire in life, which is why I push myself to do the best I can in all core and extracurricular activities. Hard work can get you several places, but sometimes, even the hardest working people out there need a little help. This is why I am asking you to please support me in my endeavors, in my dream, in everything I've ever worked for by funding me.
