Steal Breeze/Western Nationals

This campaign is to benefit Steal Breeze Softball u12 (non-profit organization EIN 51-0188206) Hello! My name is Mia Vaughn and I play for a U12 softball team (Petaluma Steal Breeze - Brody). My team earned a spot in the Western Nationals and we are raising money to help pay for expenses while at Nationals. Our team earned an opportunity to represent our city in the 2018 Western Nationals Softball Tournament (July 29th - August 5th) . We competed in a very difficult USA Championship Tournament amongst 20 teams and placed 4th. In order for that to happen, we had to battle in a 3 hour long game (which had 2 overtime periods), in +90 degree heat on a synthetic turf field while playing tired with sore muscles. We were determine to fight to the end. For us to have the mental and emotional capacity to survive all the ups and downs of that epic semi-final game, is outstanding. Our gladiator like efforts have proven that we are not going to let each other and our families down. We deserved and earned the right to play in the Western Nationals and do not deserve to be held back from this opportunity. This tournament is a week long event, so the financial responsibility is huge. Our parents are going to do the best they can, but they do need help. Please, help us raise all the funds we need to send our team to Nationals so we can compete and gain memories that will last us a lifetime. Any amount will be appreciated!
