Family in Need of a Miracle

Donation protected
Let me begin by saying that we are not in search of sympathy, we are in search for help; for guidance. This is something you may or may not know, as we kept it a secret of ours for a very long time, as we weren't very sure as to how to handle it on our side of things.

The story begins in January 2018, 4 months after my mom and my step-dad's marriage. My step-dad was diagnosed with stage three Hodgkins-Lymphoma cancer. It was a shock, to say the least. He was treated at the local hospital for around eight months.

On the final day of the treatment, my step-brother passed away from suicide, a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

That's when we found out he was in remission. It was September.

That was a breathe of relief. Until December. When it started all over again.

The cancer had made its appearance once more. And, this time we were referred to Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

This time around the chemotherapy treatments were longer and more intense, he would be in the hospital for 4-5 days at a time, and out of work for longer.

Financial stability was falling.

Once again, we found out he was in remission in March 2019. And, the clinic decided to go forward with a stem cell transplant, which will start today, March 29, 2019 and will last until May 2019. He has been out of work since March 25 and will be out of work two weeks after his transplant.

My mom will be commuting back and forth from Palm Coast to Jacksonville as often as possible.

She can cover some finances with her income but not all of it, and I, being a high school senior/incoming college freshman who works a minimum wage job can't provide as much help as I would like to.

So, I am asking for your help.

Please support this tye-dye shirt wearing, Jimmy Buffet loving, strong man and our family.

Even if you can't donate, please share, every little bit helps and the funds will go directly to us and our bills and other expenses.

Thank you!
