Darren's Amateur MMA Show
My name is Darren Garcia and I'm a disabled combat veteran trying to start my own amateur MMA promotion. I want to give first time fighters, in West Chester, a chance to showcase their abilities and advance to bigger and better opportunities so they can eventualy fight as pros.
The $10,000.00 I'm asking for will cover the sanctioning fee, space rental, weigh-ins, gloves and shin guards, t-shirts , marketing costs, chair rentals, fighters insurance, clean up, employees, and many other miscellaneous or suprise costs. I will need the funds between June 1st and August 31st in order to start advertising and give the fighters enough time to train.
I've studied martial arts on and off for 22 years and could never do anything great with what I've learned. I now have younger friends who are fighters, one fights in UFC, and some who have not been given a chance due to location and too few promotions in my area so if there is any way I can help them I will, but first I need help from all of you. Please realise that whoever donates will not be giving me money but investing into the careers of future stars in the worlds fastest growing sport. Anything will be greatly appreciated.
In the event that I can't have this show put on by January 31, 2017 all monies will be refunded. Proof of the event will be available upon request since all reports of the show will be covered by lohud as well as FIOS News1 WestChester.
