Trevors Road To Racing Again

No one expected Tuesday June 19th, 2018 to be as eventful as it was. It was supposed to be a regular work day followed by a night of working on the the race car. No one could have even imagined by 2pm there would be no race car left. It saddens us to have to look at the pieces of metal that have been left by the fire that destroyed it all. To Trevor his race car is his life. He loved to race whether he was in first place or competing for last place. Every waking hour was spent talking, working, or thinking about the race car. Every dime spent was towards making sure the car would be on the racetrack the following Saturday. Countless hours were spent in the Race Shop whether it be with friends or family working on the car. Country music always playing and beer always cold. The rules of the shop were simple; beer is to be served if work was getting done and that rule was quite known to all who helped throughout the years. The race shop was always open and anyone was welcome to come over. Not only did the fire engulf his 1990s 4 cylinder mustang to race in the mini stock division; but also his "Plan B back up car" and his car to race in the enduro series. The fire did not ease up; destroying everything in its path including all his tools and parts aswell. Without these not only will he need to purchase another car but also tools to build it. Now all he is left with is the remains of metal pieces and the memories. In this time of need we hope the racing community can come together as one and realize the importance of safety and how easy it is for everything to be taken away in the blink of an eye. Trevor and his family had to learn this lesson the hard way and we would like others to learn from this aswell. Any donation is appreciated no matter how big or small. We would like to see this young man get back out on the track and to get our race shop back up and running so others like Trevor can enjoy the sport they love.
