Noah's Wheelchair Van and Ramp

Donation protected
In late April 2017 on my last night of staying at Cape Cod Hospital I met Neri, my night nurse. She told me about her 8-year-old son, Noah, who was born with a birth defect and uses a wheelchair to get around.

As you can read  below, the family is in need of a wheelchair van and a ramp for their home.  Alas I don’t have such amount of money anymore to donate, but I told Neri about all the wonderful people I have in my life.

Neri left that morning at 7AM but I couldn’t stop thinking about her brave little boy. I am home now with hospice services. They help control my pain, but my mind still doesn’t stop thinking about that that child. I had heard so many stories about people who are terminally ill and how they recall some things of the past and are feeling sorry that so many things and relationships are not repairable anymore. My only regret at this point is that I probably don’t have enough time left for me to help young Noah. So, I’m going to leave this project with you to finish it.

Please, let’s count our blessings of having healthy children and let’s remember kids who are going through lots of pain and surgeries, and also remember the pains the parents are living with. I beg you for a small donation to his account.  It doesn’t matter how small an amount; for a child it always be a sign of love. God bless you all – most of you were my only support for long years and my strength at hard times.

Love you all, may you and your families be healthy and happy for many years to come.

Thank you for everything.

Neri (Noah's mother) writes:
"Noah is a happy beautiful boy who was born with a birth defect called Spina bifida. He is a strong little man, who went through many surgeries, and he’s still using the wheelchair to get along. Noah is a blessing in our lives, but we still struggle  with some of his needs. At the moment we are  in need of a adaptive car that can fit his wheelchair, and a ramp to make his transition from inside  the house easy. "
