Australian Interschool Championships

Hi everyone, I’m Lara Baker-Condon and I’m aiming to raise money to contribute towards my trip to Werribee, Victoria, for the Australian Interschool Championships. I live in Northern Tasmania, I’m 16 years of age and I’m currently half way through Grade 10. I am doing college level maths as an extra curricular, as well as my training schedule for two horses, due to my lack of available time I’m not able to find part time work to help support my riding. I completely understand how expensive my hobby (aiming to be my career at one stage) is and also know how uncertain people can be regarding GoFundMe accounts. But I can assure you that I am fully committed and put 100% into everything I do. Any available financial assistance will be put towards, transport to the mainland via the boat, entry fees, stable hire, caravan hire, uniform, as well as training sessions with some of the states best coaches. I have been to this event once before in 2014. I have qualified an additional two times but due to knee surgery and glandular fever I have had to miss both years, so I’m beyond excited that I’m able to represent Tasmania again. For anyone who haven’t followed my journey, some of the highlights of my riding career have been: •3x Interschools Preliminary State Champion •Equestrian Australia (ETAS) Super School Rider of the Year •2x Hunter Hack Champion at Campbell Town Show •Demonstration rider at the Stallion Parade 2017 and Agfest 2018 Plus more.
