Deductible For Dawn

This campaign is being created for Dawn Keck by her friends at Then and Now Antiques. Dawn is a 49 year old, single mother who owns her own cleaning company (A Greener Clean) in Petoskey, Michigan. Dawn is currently living with two Arachnoid Cysts on her brain, 4 bulging disks in her upper spine and Cervical Dystonia (A rare neurological disorder that originates in the brain). These diseases are extremely painful and unfortunately require her to take  pain medications to make it bearable. These debilitating illnesses are dramatically affecting Dawn's day to day life. She is unable to perform the tasks needed to work and now needs an assistant to help her. Her family is being as supportive as they can, driving her to and from work everyday because she can not turn her head due to the pain caused by Cervical Dystonia. Dawn is remarkably positive and a delightful person who even though has lost her independence and comfort has continued to smile. Dawn is scheduled to have surgery to remove the cysts on her brain. This is only the first step to helping her, but will relieve the constant pressure and headaches she lives with every day. The goal of this campaign is to raise $14,000 to pay the surgery deductible. Dawns family and friends want nothing more than to see her succeed and find comfort again. We would greatly appreciate any help in making her life easier.
