Help Nancy Fight Cancer

It is with a heavy heart that I am creating this GoFundMe page for my dear friend Nancy who first found out about her stage 1 breast cancer this last October 2019 and has been pushing through this ever since. She has had the surgery to remove the lump in her breast and the lymph nodes from underneath her arm. But if she doesn’t get chemotherapy, there's a high risk that the cancer will spread.

 

She is a kind, generous, and big hearted mother. Her only beloved daughter Danielle is here making all the necessary arrangements with her doctors and they are facing this battle head on. I know all of her friends, neighbors, and even acquaintances have asked how they can help. We are hoping this can give everybody that chance to get her through this.

 

Nancy has a part time job working in the service industry and is not paid for time off and this being her only source of income, it has been extremely hard. Between chemo and radiation, she will be out of work for 6 months or more depending on how aggressive therapy may be. Treatment is very strenuous financially and so many people have been touched by Nancy's giving spirit. We would like to give them an opportunity to do the same.

 

At 62, she's been through a lot of losses, 1 being a widower. But she has overcome it all with the grace of God. Being an all around people person, she lights up a room with her smile and wit. Being an animal lover naturally she never lets her neighborhood cats, squirrels, raccoons and birds go hungry. As a Brooklyn native, its not in Nancy's nature to ask for help. We know everything happens due to God's wish and Nancy will conquer it with God. She will appreciate all the amazing support from all of you.
