Josie Needs New Legs
While I was away, my little daredevil got through the gate that normally keeps her from going upstairs. She was looking out of my bedroom window on the second floor, and while details are a little fuzzy as to why, I suspect she saw a fat squirrel she wanted to hug. Naturally, jumping through the window screen and all made sense to her. (Windows were open for airflow to keep the upstairs cool) Josie girl fell approximately 15 feet to the ground causing some bone breakage and permanently damaged soft tissue to both of her dog wrists. The surgeon estimates surgery at about $8-$10,000.00 with a few months recovery. Any donations are greatly appreciated so Josie girl can support weight on her wrists again and have a quality of life a dog like her needs. Anything above the needed amount will be donated to a pet charity for other animals in need.
