Rebuilding The O'Rourke's

A lifetime of memories burnt to ashes - we need your help to rebuild.

Tragedy hit my family on October 24, 2015. My mom's house burned down and my mom and sister, Ruth and Mary O'Rourke, lost everything. They narrowly escaped with just the clothes on their backs before the entire house was engulfed in flames.  My mom spent half the day in hospital but has since been released. We are happy she is ok, but the sad truth is, they have no home to return to, as the house was not insured. 

I am heartbroken for my mother and sister.  I am so thankful that they got out safely before the home was consumed by fire. Now they are facing a cold Newfoundland winter without clothes and a home.
