Mrs Daphne Stephens Retirement

This go fund me page is being created as a means for everyone who has been directly or indirectly affected by the most fantabulous teacher, Mrs. Daphne Stephens. As most everyone knows she will be retiring this year after 24 hard earned years. Anyone who knows Mrs. Stephens has been affected by her in some way shape or form. Her presence lights up the room with her yellow attire that she attributes to starting the day off right. I am not sure that I will personally be able to put on the color yellow without first thinking about her and her positive aurora. A group of her students both past and present have strongly and persistently been wanting to do something really special for her to show her how much she means to not only the students but the families as well. We all know Mrs Stephens is not a material person and this is clearly seen by the things she views most important- connections and getting to know people and making them feel special. She seeks out the good and best qualities in every single person and will not settle for subpar. She is exceptional at attending students events and being the best cheerleader while she is there. She takes pride in what she does and expects others to do the same. I know she has taught me to be a better person, to think before I assume and just to love “better”. I know she has made a lasting impact on your lives as well consciously or unconsciously. So.... we all decided what Mrs Stephens could use most would be a car fund. She willingly gave her one car to one of her sons for him to have at college while she gets rides here and there and she also uses her feet to walk many faithful footsteps to get to places she needs to be. I truly can not think of a more deserving person to receive a monetary gift to use towards a need and not a want. We would love for this to truly help her out and know that the lord will provide what is needed for someone who has been so faithful to their journey. Please keep this a secret.
