Sophie’s breast cancer battle

Sophie found a lump in her breast while in the shower in March which required further tests, resulting in a diagnosis of stage 2 breast cancer.At only 38 this was a huge shock and as a mum to two little girls Sophie was ready to fight this awful disease with everything she had. It was decided a double mastectomy was Sophie’s best chance at beating this and she had the surgery on April 26th. After the surgery sophie had some complications which has made her very sick so recovery is taking longer than expected as she is quite ill. She is back at home now waiting on results, some more tests and further treatment plans. This unexpected diagnosis and following surgeries mean that Sophie has had to take twelve months off work as well as put her beauty degree on hold. Sophie is an extremely hard working woman and mother and would be too proud to ask for help- but if you could help in anyway, no matter how small, it will be greatly appreciated And help ease the financial burden placed upon her and her family during this tough time.
