Global Grizzlies

Global Grizzlies is a student organization based in the Davidson Honors College at the University of Montana. The purpose of this group is to send ten students interested in health professions to a Iganga, Uganda hospital through the NGO Experiential Learning International (ELI). At this hospital, we will have the opportunity to shadow medical professionals, help with basic medical procedures and live with a local host family. In our free time, we hope to not only explore the natural beauty of Uganda, but to find meaningful and effective ways to give back to the Iganga community.  All of the current members have a diverse set of interests, but have a common goal, to learn and improve public health on a global scale. Your donation will not only help fund our experiential learning experience in Uganda, it will also help fund a lasting relationship between pre-health students from the University of Montana and the Iganga community. Help us reach our goal and get us that much closer to making healthcare a basic human right.
