Ziggy Stardust

Ziggy Stardust is a 12 year old Husky mix, and more than that, he's the single most gentle soul I've ever met. Ziggy has been fighting cancer for the past couple years, and we're not quite done yet. I always tell people he belongs to the world, and he truly does. Ziggy has beaten 2 bouts of cancer, a random bully attack, and 2 accidents that has left him a bit worn, and with 1 titanium leg. While spending last summer giving him intravenous fluids and sleeping with him on the floor, it was obvious to me that I and his person, Kendra, would do anything to keep him around as long as he's comfortable, which he still is. He's largely defeated the lymphoma, but the remedy for that has trashed much of the rest of the old boy. Multiple credit cards and called-in favors later, he needs another procedure to identify his anemia. I can't stress enough that he is a happy, comfortable puppo, and we wouldn't keep him going selfishly. We just need to pay to identify this latest issue, and the credit limit is gone. He needs a series of tests that we just can't cobble the funds together for. Anything we can raise here will be going to his amazing veterinarians and oncologists, scans and meds, to keep him comfortable a bit longer. Ziggy brings joy to every life he touches (I know, you all have dogs), be it us who know him well or whoever's in the neighboring car in traffic. We just want him to keep giving that joy a bit longer. If you can spare a buck, Ziggy and his pack will be eternally in your debt. Thank you.
