Arnold, Candice, Cora Support Fund

My husband Simon Grant was brutally murdered April 2017 in La Ronge SK. Simon encouraged many youth to build a good life, helped them financially and gave them employment. Simon's murder has changed my life forever. This past year we moved to Eatonia to have more family support. This year my goal was to make sure Arnold and Candice were ok, we all have been in counselling and have a caring family life. Humbly I must say Finances have been tight. Moving expenses, trips to La Ronge for court, car repairs (some due to the convicts vandalism) , utility hook ups, medical trips. Simons murder ended my financial income of Louisianas. I took my sentimental items out and the rest went to Auction to pay off the mortgage and final bills. We need a more reliable vehicle, Arnold's cell phone bill $$, money to help support Arnold's needs. We have not been getting any funding to support Arnold since May 2017. Arnold also needs a new mattress, new shoes, sweat pants and other clothing. We need money for groceries, meat especially. We are renting a cute little home that I am hoping to own one day......so Candice, Arnold and I have a secure place to call home. We are doing pretty well. I am trying to stretch the money we have. Arnold's Counsellor suggested we start a campaign as financial stress after this tragedy has just added strain to my recovery. Arnold collects cans and bottles and that helps with spending money. Simon and I had always given whatever we could to whom ever needed it....a ride, a meal, a power bill paid, a safe place to live, a job, money for family needs, a word of support. I was blessed to be able to do that at that time. I did apply for restitution from the courts, but was denied April 16th due to the order being a detriment to the Youths reintegration after custody.
