Pennies For Penny

This is Jeanette, or better known to Blue Island residents as Penny. She is 85 years old and has been homeless for over 20 years; living in vehicles on the streets. Recently her van has broken down and been vandalized. She is left with no heat and in desperate need of a running vehicle to keep her warm. Penny's only companion, her dog Cocoa passed this summer.  To make things worse, she is unable to collect her social security check and social services can't seem to help her get it. I have given her several vehicles in the past, but currently have none available. I am  trying to raise funds to purchase her a new vehicle. She is in desperate need of our help.
