Help Support The Burchett Family

On Wednesday, April 4th 2018 Edward “Mike” Burchett was taken into the Newport hospital due to a fall early that morning. Not long after, he was transported to the Corvallis hospital. Two days after, the family was notified that Mike was in the final stages of congestive heart failure and he was then given six months to live. That Monday Mike was brought home knowing that not all days following would be great, but had hoped for the best. Mike never regained his strength nor composure and needed 24 hour care. Unfortunately hospice was called in to assist with the family. Neither Mike nor the family knew how limited time was. Exactly one week after, Mike went into the hospital he had passed away surrounded by his family. This was all completely unexpected and we’re still unsure how this all unraveled so quickly. Since Mike’s passing was so unexpected the family is struggling to come up with the money needed to cover expenses.
