When Jake was 16 he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. They acted quickly and removed it. They said every 5 years the chance would increase by 10%. He's about to be 24 on February 15th.
On January 12th, Jake lost all motor function and ability to talk and I rushed him to the emergency room at Mercy. They found a tumor in Jake's brain, they also found a cyst under the tumor. We are going up to Denver to the Cancer Hospital to get Jake the Surgery he needs.
On January 14th I had an appointment to look at muscle cramps around my hips. They decided to do some xrays to get a better look, my hips are quite alright. However, they found a mass on my liver, and they said its either a cyst or a tumor. Either way a surgery is in my future as well.
As mush as we hate to ask for any finacial help, we need it now more than ever. We hope to be able to make even a fraction of our goal, just for the hotel and doctor visit costs.
We have a long road ahead of us and we need all the help we can get.
