Nicaragua Mission Trip

Hi my name is Beth Piper and I am 18 years old. I am graduating High School at the end of May 2018. Instead of University, I have decided to take up a great opportunity to help impoverished children in León, Nicaragua. I will be working with a local church in Nicaragua to help feed and educate the local children who are struggling. The hope is that this will not only be a good opportunity for me to give back to my community, but also an opportunity for me to grow as an individual. As it is a volunteer program I will not be making any money and will need some funds to help me live there. According to my many hours of research, the cost of living there, including rent, food, transportation, and basic necessities, averages at $1,000 a month. As I will be living there for approximately 1 year, my goal is to raise $12,000. Any amount would be appreciated and any excess money will go towards the programs I will be working with there.
