CIRCLE OF JOY GIVING CIRCLE
The Circle of Joy exists to pool our time, talent, and treasure to partner with agencies who are positively impacting youth in the Atlanta Metro area. The Circle of Joy is a philanthropic organization under the umbrella of the Community Investment Network (CIN).The circle was founded in 2008 and each member of the Circle of Joy commits $250 annually to the gift giving, and it is with these funds (plus any fund raising monies) that we award the grants, which are awarded every other year. The Circle of Joy (COJ) has granted $15,000 to its recipients, but more importantly, we have given well over 1,000 hours of its time and energy to grantees.
What is Philanthtopy?
Philanthropy: altruistic concern for human welfare and advancement, usually manifested by donations of money, property, or work to needy persons, by endowment of institutions of learning and hospitals, and by generosity to other socially useful purposes.
You can practice it, too! Visit www.circleofjoyatl.org please donate to be a part of our biggest grant gift yet. We have $7000.00 already and with your help we hope to be able to give $10,000.00 at our Grant Giving Gathering in 2014. We'll even invite you to the party, so stay tuned!
