Homeless veteran needs help

To start, I really hate to ask this of any of you and understand if you cant help me. I've lived with,and split bills with my sister for the last two years. Two Fridays ago we were issued a 'non renewal of lease' and had 6 days to vacate, as we paid rent weekly for the mobile home we rented. She secured housing quickly and is okay. However, myself and my children have been in a motel for the last week as I pound the pavement to find community resources to help us, not having too much luck.
I am a disabled veteran and single mom of two amazing preteens.
My finances will let me pay for a reasonable rental for us, but the little I had saved has kept us off the street and is dwindling quickly. If my friends and family could help with a little, it could add up quickly and get us back into permanent housing. As of right now, Family Promise is going to help us, starting Thursday, we won't have to pay for a motel room any longer because neighborhood churches are kind enough to host us in their Sunday school rooms from 10pm-530am each day, switching churches weekly.  
I won't lie, I'm a nervous wreck and barely keeping my facade from cracking, but I know that no matter what, we're gonna make it, and be better people for it.
